Software: EasyCapture Code Reader software is easy to install, provides reliable code readings, and integrates smoothly into any laboratory sample database. The software includes a “no tube, no code” feature, which is critical for determining if a sample is missing.
Freeze cassette compatibility: BQ-A6 can read 384, 96, 48, 24 and 6-well format racks which are filled with 2D coded tubes.
Anti-freeze version
The freezer code reader BQ-A6 is also available in a freeze-proof version. This version has an anti-freeze system that allows the user to read lyophilization racks filled with 2D code tubes directly from the freezer. The anti-freeze system minimizes the condensation of frozen samples on the code reader’s scanning plate. Tube codes in frozen samples can be read, thereby increasing productivity and maintaining sample integrity.
The Freeze Box Code Reader BQ-A6 (freeze proof) is a simple and practical high performance scanning unit. With a few mouse clicks in the EasyCapture Code Reader software, you will be able to scan an entire rack of 2D coded tubes in less than 5 seconds, or a single tube in less than 2 seconds.
Due to the small size of the BQ-A6 code reader, the scanner can be easily integrated into automated liquid handling or storage systems.
